Beyond KPI - Motivation session held at ADSM

On February 10, 2026, the first session of the UAE–Georgia Business Alchemy Talk Series was successfully conducted at the Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM), attended by the University’s President, faculty members, and students.

The session, “Beyond Bonuses, or Alchemy of Motivation,” delivered by Andro Dgebuadze, focused on motivation and the understanding of the self as key foundations of leadership and personal development. 

During the talk, the speaker connected several influential frameworks, including Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Joseph Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey,” and perspectives drawn from the philosophy of Yoga, illustrating how these concepts can support modern approaches to organizational motivation and leadership.

The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where participants discussed practical questions such as how to design organization-wide motivation systems and how individuals can move from the stage of “knowing” to deeper “understanding” in both professional and personal development.

The session represented an important milestone in advancing thought-leadership initiatives, further strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and professional communities within the framework of the UAE–Georgia Business Alchemy Talk Series.
