Sofio Japaridze

Sofio Jafaridze is an accomplished cybersecurity professional and academic, bringing extensive experience from both national security and the private sector. She holds an MSc in Cybersecurity Management from the University of Warwick (UK) as a Chevening Scholar.

Since 2014, she has held key roles in Georgia’s Ministry of Defense Cybersecurity Bureau, including Chief Information Security Manager. She currently works in the banking sector as an Information Security Officer, applying her expertise to strengthen cyber resilience in the financial industry.

She has contributed to national and international cybersecurity capacity-building efforts, including EU and NATO projects focused on strengthening cyber capabilities and institutions. With practical experience, strong academic grounding, and global certifications, she is committed to advancing cybersecurity locally and internationally
