The Georgian Business Council in the UAE (GBC), in partnership with Savvy Consulting and the Caucasus Training Center (CTC), is launching a dedicated B2B matchmaking initiative to support Georgian exporting companies during Gulfood 2026, taking place in Dubai from January 26-30, 2026.

As part of Georgia’s participation in one of the world’s leading food and beverage trade exhibitions, the project introduces a side program of individual B2B meetings, designed to maximize concrete export outcomes for Georgian producers.

Under this initiative, nine Georgian exporting companies operating in the sectors of fresh blueberries, almonds, and fresh apples will each receive 5–10 pre-arranged one-to-one B2B meetings with carefully selected buyers. Targeted counterparts include UAE and regional importers, distributors, HoReCa operators, food processors, manufacturers, and retail chains.

The meetings will take place at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, ensuring direct access to key decision-makers during Gulfood. Each participating company will benefit from:

Tailored matchmaking based on product profiles and export priorities

Individual meeting agendas and schedules

Pre-prepared exporter profiles shared with potential buyers.

Advance sharing of buyer profiles with Georgian exporters.

The project timeline includes exporter profile collection in December 2025, buyer outreach and matchmaking throughout December 2025 – January 2026, final scheduling by January 20, 2026, and on-site implementation during the exhibition days.

This initiative aims to strengthen Georgia’s export presence in the GCC, enhance visibility among regional buyers, and facilitate direct commercial connections that can lead to long-term trade partnerships.
