ADSM Provost Marc Audi Opens the 11th International Conference at Caucasus University

We were honored to welcome Professor Marc Audi, Full Professor in Economics and Management and Provost at ADSM, as the keynote speaker at the 11th Annual International Conference titled “Education, Science, and Technology for a Sustainable Future,” held at Caucasus University in Tbilisi on October 12-13, 2026.

Professor Audi visited Georgia as part of the five-day International Learning Experience in Georgia program. He opened the conference, and his address set the stage for two days of discussions focused on sustainability, technology, and the future of education.

In his keynote speech, Professor Audi emphasized the growing importance of artificial intelligence (AI) and technology in education, highlighting how these advancements are reshaping the ways we learn, work, and communicate. He stressed the necessity of creating a technology ecosystem in higher education institutions (HEIs) and discussed how universities must adapt to meet the challenges of technological progress.

His message anticipated the key themes explored in the following sessions, which included the role of AI in higher education, digital transformation, inclusion, and responsible innovation.

Having a scholar from the UAE open an event at Caucasus University showed the type of academic exchange that these international conferences aim to promote.

We extend our gratitude to Professor Audi for his invaluable contribution, as well as to Caucasus University and all participants for two days of rich discussion.
